Made from A356-T6 cast aluminum, this gear carrier is much stronger and more durable than the stock magnesium carrier. As can be seen in the photo, we have incorporated mounting flanges into the design of the housing. This eliminates the need for a steel sandwich mount and saves the additional machining that would normally be required. When the costs of sleeving and bushing a worn out 091 gear carrier housing are added to the difficulty of finding a good usable core, we think you will find our heavy duty aluminum housing is a real bargain in comparison.
