Pop Top Load Assist Bus

GO WESTY. Bus 68-79. The original lifting gear for these tops included an internal spring assist, but most of these have lost their "oomph," and lifting even a totally unloaded top can be difficult. By popular request, we have created a simple kit to gently assist the raising and lowering of an unloaded or lightly loaded pop-top on your Type II Bus. This design does not require drilling through the body, and features two gas-charged struts that are positioned at the rear hinge points. Popping your top has never felt so good! Kit includes: (2) 100 lb. gas struts, (4) Mounting brackets, Complete mounting hardware and instructions.
